Buckinghamshire New University (BNU) is rolling out an exciting bachelor on pilot programme that’s perfect for students from all educational backgrounds! With over 20 years of experience, the programme is designed to prepare students for a rewarding career in aviation.
Duration: This is a three-year course.

Location: High Wycombe
Start date: September 2025
Year 1: In the first year, students will work towards their Private Pilot Licence (PPL). This is the first step to learning how to fly.
Year 2: In the second year, students will focus on earning their Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL). This licence is important for anyone who wants to become a professional pilot.
Year 3: In the final year with placement opportunities, students will choose a flight school to complete their flying hours and get any extra ratings they might need. Each student will have a personal tutor who will monitor their progress, help with any problems at their flight school, and offer advice on getting their pilot licence.
A career in aviation presents special prospects, and the industry is constantly offering methods to keep the world moving. This program is constantly updated to reflect the ever-evolving aviation sector, giving students the assurance that they are learning the most recent information.
The purpose of BNU’s aviation management with pilot training degrees is to give students a broader understanding of aviation in addition to piloting skills, which will open up a variety of career options. Students can choose to work in business, leisure, or emergency services in addition to aviation.
This pilot education programme at Buckinghamshire New University not only equips a student with practical experience but also helps them build important connections. As an official partner, CGS will work closely with BNU to find students who can benefit from this programme.
